Q 44: What does Oneness of the Worship of Allah mean?

A--- To believe that none has the right to be worshipped (e.g. praying, invoking, asking for help from the unseen, swearing, offering sacrifice, giving charity, fasting, pilgrimage, etc.) but Allah the Almighty. Allah says in His Glorious Qur'an,

{And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him}.

(Al-Isra',23)

Allah the Almighty says:

{Worship Allah and join none with Him (in worship)}.

(An-Nisa', 36)

Allah the Almighty says:

{Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform AsSalat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance}.

(Ta-Ha, 14)
