Keys to the treasures
As the prophets and righteous people knew that this name is the key to answering supplications, they supplicated Allah therewith. Nūh (Noah) (peace be upon him) used it in his supplication:
{My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women...}
[Nūh: 28]
Ibrāhim (Abraham) (peace be upon him) used it as he supplicated:
{Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed, You are the All - Hearing, the All - Knowing!}
[Al - Baqarah: 127]
And Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) used it in his supplication:
{And say: “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils,And I seek refug e with You, My Lord, lest they should come near me.”}
[Al - Mu’minūn: 97 - 98]
