Be with Him!
From His glory all messengers and prophets derive their glory. Hence, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him): We know how to greet you, but how can we invoke Allah’s peace upon you?
From His glory all messengers and prophets derive their glory. Hence, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him): “We know how to greet you, but how can we invoke Allah’s peace upon you?”
He said:
“Allāhumma salli ‘ala Muham mad wa ‘ala āli Muhammad kama sallayta ‘ala Ibrāhim wa ‘ala āli Ibrāhim innaka hamīdun majīd (O Allah, send Your peace upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your peace upon Abraham and the family of A braham; indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious).”
