The innate tendency and the issue of Islam
There is no dispute that Islam - before any consideration - is: a "religion". This is the fundamental meaning of the foundation, which is a total and categorical meaning, firmly established in the texts of the Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah, and in full consensus. Allah said (what means) { Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam} Quran (3: 19),
Allah said (what means)
And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers
Quran 3: 85
But we have cited these texts here as a reminder , we know that this fact which is self-evident, has begun to shake, consciously or unconsciously, many of the workers in the Islamic fields of the modern Islamic movement!
We are now in the process of reinterpreting the obvious matters, We found that they need to be reviewed and re-evaluated, in order to build the method of inference, about the topics that causes differences in modern reform approaches and its concepts.
I say - as a witness to the era – a period passed on the Islamic movement when many of those who work in the Islamic fields forgot or were about to forget, that Islam is a religion.
This is the first step. Or "first introduction" as in the words of the Logicians We must now ask: What is the meaning of the word "religion"? What is its conceptual significance in the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah? Let this be a second step. Or a (second intro).
The word (DEEN) Religion in the Arabic language refers to the submission of the heart and body parts to Allah the Lord of the worlds. This is the meaning of worship, It is the meaning of worship and its core is the pure heart for the body parts will not really submit unless the heart would really devote itself to its Lord, which is the meaning of Sincerity. Therefore, the title of Islam, and its entrance, which has no other entrance, I mean: "the testimony of there is no god worthy of worship but Allah.".
There is nothing in Islam revolves outside this meaning, since the father of the prophets Abraham, peace be upon him, proclaimed it, as the Quran explained{ And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.
When his Lord said to him, "Submit", he said
"I have submitted [in Islam] to the Lord of the worlds."
Quran (2:130)
you may reread this verse and the following verses to contemplate on the meaning in details { And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous. When his Lord said to him, "Submit", he said "I have submitted [in Islam] to the Lord of the worlds." And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], "O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims." Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said,
"We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."
Quran (2: 130-133)
